Chassis
Plans integrates a majority of the products we ship. Highly
experienced technicians working in an ESD free environment
assures our customers their systems will work out of the box
and provide trouble free operation.
System definition - Our experienced
Sales Engineers work closely with the customer to help define
the desired system based on required functionality, cost,
form factor, and performance. An intimate knowledge of the
industrial computer market allows the Sales Engineering Team
to narrow down the product selection to a system definition
that will work and exactly meet customer expectations.
Component selection - Chassis
Plans offers a wide variety of proprietary products but we
don't claim to have 100% product saturation. The Sales Engineer
knows what products are available from what sources, what
works with what, and what products are supported by the required
operating system. The final system definition will then comprise
an optimal mix of Chassis Plans products with other manufacturer's
third party components.
Custom Products - Often customer
requirements cannot be met by an off-the-shelf product. Chassis
Plans has extensive experience in Custom
Product Design and manufacturing for a wide variety of
industrial and rackmount products including: rackmount chassis,
LCD displays and keyboards, single board computers, backplanes,
analog and digital I/O cards.
Procurement and Stocking - Chassis
Plans will source, purchase, receive, inspect, and stock required
third party components. In addition, we can receive and segregate
customer supplied material.
Integration - Our highly experienced
Integration Team ,
working from a computer generated work order system, assembles
your specified components into a neatly organized and reliable
system. Component placement is per the System Definition Folder
that travels with each order. Cables are nicely finished both
to protect the components and to minimize impact on cooling
flow. All work and component handling is done in a state of
the art static free environment using conductive flooring,
benches, carts, smocks, and grounding straps. For first time
orders, full post assembly documentation is performed to assure
all future orders are built exactly the same. Each system
is burned in and tested using test software to assure full
system functionality. Board specific test software is used
as required. Test results along with serial numbers are recorded
and documented for full tractability.
Shipping - The order is checked
for completeness and packaged in high quality boxes with product
specific foam for protection. As required or justified, shipments
can be palletized for additional protection. We can use any
shipping carrier or freight service as specified by the customer.
Agency Certifications - As required,
Chassis Plans can provide complete system certification services
for
